Organizers, volunteers and participants of the "Olympism Amazing Race"
CHERAS: Reality shows “The Amazing Race” and “The Amazing Race Asia” inspired the Pierre de Coubertin Society of Malaysia (PCSM) to organize an “Amazing Race” of their own. With a request that came from the Penggerak Belia Tempatan (PeBT) Zon 10, Majlis Perbandaran Kajang (MPKj) to organize a one day event for the community youth, the Coubertanians as they call themselves, designed the “Olympism Amazing Race”.

The “Olympism Amazing Race” was held in Padang Jalan Damai Perdana 1/5e, Bandar Damai Perdana on December 19th, 2010. Registration began at 9.00am and about 25 youth from the surrounding community participated.

A short aerobics session started the event off followed by an ice breaking session to introduce every participant to each other. The organizers and volunteers also joined in the fun. The volunteers of this event were students from SMK (P) Methodist KL who participated in the Olympism Outreach Program (O2P) last month.
